Privacy policy

This page explains what information AIA Cyber Risk Solutions collects through this website, through email and phone contact, and through the CyberNest Digital Safety app—and what we do with it. We collect as little as the job requires.

Contact and project forms

When you submit a form on this site, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, organization (optional), the service or starting point you selected, your message, and—on the website project form—the address of your current site if you provide it. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work you asked for.

Forms are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Submissions are stored in Netlify’s form system and forwarded to our email. Netlify applies automated spam filtering to submissions. Netlify’s own practices are described in its privacy policy.

We keep form submissions and the email correspondence that follows for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain ordinary business records, and we delete them on request (see “Your choices” below).

Hosting and server logs

Like nearly every website, this site’s hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested—such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time—for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. These logs are kept by Netlify for a limited period and are not used by us to identify individual visitors.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. When analytics is active, it is configured to anonymize IP addresses and without advertising or remarketing features. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish repeat visits; you can block them with your browser settings or a content blocker without affecting the site. The site itself sets no cookies of its own and contains no social-media trackers or advertising pixels.

Email and phone

If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence as a normal business record so we can follow up accurately. We do not add you to a marketing list.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
  • We do not share your information with anyone except the service providers named above (Netlify for hosting and forms; Google when analytics is active), or where the law requires it.
  • We do not use your information for advertising.

The CyberNest Digital Safety app

CyberNest is a free app for Android and iOS published by AIA. It is built to work without collecting personal information. The summary below covers the essentials; the full app policy lives on the CyberNest privacy policy page.

  • No account. The app does not ask you to register or sign in, and it does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
  • Progress stays on your device. Lesson progress, checklist completion, practice results, your Cyber Health Score, and any recovery steps you check off are stored only on your phone. They are not sent to AIA.
  • No ads and no tracking. The app contains no advertising, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics that profile you.
  • Crash reports. To find and fix bugs, the app uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service. If the app crashes, a crash report is sent to Google and made available to us. It includes technical details about the crash, your device model and operating system version, and an installation identifier that Crashlytics generates. It does not include your lesson content, practice answers, or anything you typed.
  • Links to other sites. Trusted sources, opt-out resources, and recovery guides open official third-party websites in your browser. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
  • Optional support. If the app offers an optional way to support the project, the purchase is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details.
  • Children. CyberNest is designed for adults and for families where an adult manages the household’s digital safety. It is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from them.

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email andrew.wright@aiacyber.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you would rather not submit a web form, you are welcome to email or call us instead.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to the CyberNest app’s data practices will also be reflected on the CyberNest privacy policy page and in the app’s Google Play and Apple App Store listings.
